Jay's connection to Hein began when he joined the company as an 18-year-old apprentice, eager to learn the craft and build a future in construction. Over the past 22 years, he has steadily earned his way through the company’s leadership structure, shaped by his strong work ethic, deep field experience, and commitment to his team.

Today, Jay oversees field operations for the carpentry and building divisions. His responsibilities include coordinating manpower and equipment, ensuring crews have what they need to keep projects moving efficiently. But Jay’s greatest impact comes from his role as a mentor. He excels at teaching new field team members the core principles of safety, quality, and productivity—setting clear expectations and helping develop the next generation of leaders.
