Dave's career in construction began at Bradley University, where he earned his degree in construction management. After graduating, he joined a large local contractor and quickly developed expertise in industrial and later healthcare construction—experience that built a strong technical foundation early in his career.

He joined Hein in 2019, bringing with him a fresh perspective and a drive for continuous improvement. Since then, Dave has significantly enhanced the company’s estimating and project management processes, strengthening accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across teams.

In addition to his project and estimating responsibilities, Dave plays a key role in developing new talent. He trains estimating and project management interns and new hires, helping them quickly onboard, build confidence, and become productive contributors to the organization.
